Admittedly, I have a soft spot for cruise shows. Although I understand their importance, just like other fashion events, they exude a sense of fun, artistry, and relaxation. There's something particularly enchanting about Mediterranean influences. Perhaps it’s the Italian in me, irresistibly drawn to the fashion of Southern Europe like a moth to a flame, haha.

Before delving into my favorite fashion moments of the Louis Vuitton Cruise Show 2025, I must highlight the beauty of this year's location. Over the past decade, Louis Vuitton has showcased Nicolas Ghesquière’s collections in some of the world's most architecturally stunning settings. This year, the event graced the Hypostyle Room of Antoni Gaudí’s Park Güell, renowned for its mesmerizing mosaic ceilings.
"I wanted to honor the spirit of this place /.../ I love how this country embodies a certain groundedness and rigor, while also celebrating freedom, youth, and a touch of extravagance." - Nicolas Ghesquière
Oversized blazers will forever hold a special place in my heart. While I’ve enjoyed the resurgence of the hourglass silhouette in recent years, I am equally delighted that the super oversized boxy blazer remains a staple. These blazers, long enough to be worn as dresses, stole my heart. The bold brooches and straw gaucho hats were also standout accessories, and the mirrored racing shades added an unexpected level of intrigue and contrast to the otherwise classic tailored ensembles.
A fun thing to note: when I met the Irish team at Charlotte Tilbury, I discovered that the dramatic late 1920s lip—like the one seen on the model in the second picture—is making a beauty comeback. This trend features a more pronounced and sharp cupid's bow, as opposed to the rounded, fuller Kylie Jenner-style lips.
Seeing an over-the-top dramatic boat neck on the runway was also a personal highlight. Ever since I was young and first saw Audrey Hepburn in a boatneck t-shirt, it has been my fave neckline. Its presence on the runway reassured me that this trend is here to stay, at least for another season. Happy-clappy!

Lastly, another aspect I truly enjoyed was the color palette, featuring a blend of neutrals and creamy, muted pastels. This season, I am especially drawn to buttery yellow shades and colors reminiscent of some kind of apricot-salmon hybrid, haha. And ever since I saw Dune: Part Two in cinemas back in February, my love for draping has also been rekindled.
