11 SKIN CARE FAVORITES I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT 2023

The skin is our largest organ and it deserves to be treated accordingly. Sporadic and expensive facials can absolutely boost the skin, but it's the daily routine that will make a difference in the long run, regardless of what purpose you want to achieve with your skin care. Here I share my skin care favorites from 2022 that I will definitely continue to use in 2023. Some of the products I have used significantly less than a year and will continue to buy for the rest of my life.

**NOTE! I have combination skin that tends to get very dry. I can therefore unfortunately not recommend products for oily or acne-prone skin.**

1. WELEDA SKIN FOOD

A favorite for many years. This deeply moisturizing and caring cream has a completely natural ingredient list and can be found in both Gwyneth Paltrow's and Victoria Beckham's nose care. Also love that it is basically available at all pharmacies.

2. ESTÉE LAUDER ADVANCED NIGHT REPAIR EYE SERUM

I love everything from the Advanced Night Repair range and this eye serum is no exception. I keep it in the fridge and that way the applicator and serum are cool in the morning when I want to use it, perfect for reducing puffiness around the eyes.

3. THE ORDINARY AHA 30% + BHA 2% PEELING SOLUTION

Another product that I have used for several years. I apply a thin layer as a face mask twice a week for a maximum of 15 minutes before rinsing it off. Once I washed it off in a hurry and missed that there was some left next to my right ear, the next day I experienced both burning and itching in the area, so important to rinse thoroughly! However, it gives mega-glooooow when used correctly and in moderation!

4. CERAVE FACIAL MOISTURIZING LOTION

It's this cream I go back to when I suspect I've played around too much with different skin care products. It's perfect for sensitive skin and restores my skin to its original state in no time. Back to basics!

5. SKIN GYM FACE ROLLER

I realize this may not be classed as a skin care product but more of a tool but I can't help but mention this face massage tool which I believe gives the same effect as a Gua-Sha but is much easier to use.

6. BIOTHERM LAIT CORPOREL BODY LOTION

This body lotion has a special place in my heart as mum always used to buy this at Arlanda's Tax Free every time we went abroad. The scent therefore reminds me of sun, swimming and sand between the toes. Plus it leaves skin silky smooth, love it!

7. SKIN ROLLERS SOOTHING EYE PATCHES

A new favorite for this year are these eye patches. I've never been one to use eye masks but these have converted me. Like the Estée Lauder eye serum, I keep these in the fridge so they are cool when applying.

8. ESTÉE LAUDER RE-NUTRIVE CREME

Probably the most expensive cream in my bathroom cabinet but I can say with my hand on my heart that it is worth every penny. The texture is magical, the hydration is maximum and my cheeks are smooth as the bottom of a baby's bottom. It is also extremely light and lasts as long as you like.

9. ESTÉE LAUDER EYE SUPERCHARGED GEL-CREME

Another product for the eyes, but a refreshed look really does wonders for the whole radiance. Personally, I always feel extra tough when I look tired in the mirror. After applying this magical little gel under my eyes, it looks like I slept longer than Sleeping Beauty.

10. SUNDAY RILEY GOOD GENES TREATMENT

The name does NOT lie! Call them scientists or alchemists but Sunday Riley has really managed to bring out Modell genes in a bottle. At the risk of sounding like a washing-up liquid commercial, I can guarantee that a very small drop is all that is required and lasts for a very long time. My skin has never been as good and free from pimples and blackheads as when I used this serum regularly.

11. THE ORDINARY NIACINAMIDE 10% + ZINC 1%

A serum I always have in my bathroom cabinet as it is both effective and incredibly cheap in relation to what you get. The Ordinary saves money by not adding cosmetic ingredients such as perfume to its skincare and keeping the design of its packaging very simple. That way they can push prices down. Love!

That was all for this time. Take care and we'll see you!

Xx
